Third Festival First Night

I love the Sydney Festival, and I am a huge fan of the Festival First Night introduced by previous festival director Fergus Linehan. This year it ran for the third time, and I went along for the third time, yesterday, setting up in the Domain with friends. Unashamed dork that I am, I took along some mini cupcakes in bright yellow to match the official colour of the festival in 2010; that was all the excuse I needed to make them lemon-flavoured to boot.
